The Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage operates the world’s most successful orphan elephant rescue and rehabilitation program and is one of the pioneering conservation organisations for wildlife and habitat protection in East Africa.

ITINERARY

0930 Hours: Sheldrick elephant orphanage day tour departs from your hotel with a pick up by our driver.

1030 Hours: Arrival at the Sheldrick elephant orphanage and pay entrance fees while proceeding to the staging area.

1100 Hours: The Sheldrick elephant orphanage public lecture starts with the more than 20 baby elephants being fed on milk from plastic bottles. The baby elephants will also play around the waterholes and with a ball as you touch them along the rope line.

1200 Hours: Departure from Daphne Sheldrick elephant orphanage for your hotel.

You have an option to combine this tour with nearby attractions including the Kazuri beads factory, Kitengela glass, Karen Blixen Museum , Giraffe Centre, Nairobi national park, Nairobi safari walk, Carnivore restaurant, Bomas of Kenya, Matt bronze gallery, Utamaduni souvenir shop among others.
